Kona Inn Shopping Village
There are plentiful shops along Ali’i Drive. The Kona Inn Shopping Village on the waterfront has over 65 shops including restaurants, galleries, boutiques, Hawaiian gift stores, and souvenir shops. There are several outdoor markets that sell a variety of fresh produce and foods to discount sourvenirs and tourit trinkets - they are located along the southern portion of Ali’i Drive. Open daily 9AM-9PM.
Ali’i Gardens Marketplace
One great outdoor market is Ali’i Gardens Marketplace (official website) - with plenty of souvenirs and clothing for everyone. There are over 40 shops offering hundreds of handmade products, local art & jewelry, Kona coffee, fresh flowers, koa wood, and clothing. Kailua-Kona Town Farmer’s Market
Buy locally-grown flowers, produce, macadamia nuts and coffee. Also find bargains on t-shirts and aloha-print shirts. Open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Across from Hale Halawai cultural pavilion, Alii Drive, Kailua-Kona.
Kona International Market
The Kona International Market is outdoor shopping with indoor comfort. This open-air market features a wide variety of goods, a reflection of the many cultures. Hilo Farmer’s Market
The best farmer’s market on the Big Island is in Hilo. In this open-air market, you will find homegrown, homemade produce at bargain prices. You will also find a variety of local ceramics, photographs, paintings, and other artwork. There are also many clothing vendors with Hawaiian print clothing and t-shirts for sale. ABC Stores are convenient and offer many outstanding bargains. They stock a large variety of souvenirs and Hawaiian curio items, in addition to film, beverages, and snacks. There are three ABC Stores located in Kailua-Kona town.
